Treasurer / March 2019 Treasurer’s Report
« on: March 17, 2019, 04:58:38 PM »
Treasurers Report

* Created an action plan and edited all of the issues with the FEC audit
* Amending audits requires all subsequent reports to be audited where a monetary value is altered, hence the volume of amendments made
* Traveled to Tallahassee with David Salisbury and Omar Recuero for the Florida Elections Committee hearing of Joe Wendt Vs. The Libertarian Party of Florida. We came in professionally and prepared and our case was unanimously dropped by the committee. The committee Chair was gracious that we are taking our reporting so seriously. The committee did not have an interest in the waivers or lack of, but rather the discrepancies, most of which were simply the wrong date or description. Only several discrepancies were unlisted, with a several hundred dollar combined value. Accounting processes are continuously being updated and SoP’s are being formed by myself and the audit committee.
* Moved $2,500 from State Funds to Federal Funds in an effort to isolate Federal Funding in its own account to simplify Federal Elections Commission accounting
* Unaccounted for funds from Escrow have been moved to State Funds, the Escrow funds allocations are recorded and will be published here.
* Bank balances will be update when I return home from the LP GA State Convention
* I misspoke last month and stated funds from the Libertarian Party of Bradford County were due for escrow and that affiliate disbanded. Those funds were donated from Bradford County destined for State Funds as leftovers from the Ryan Ramsey for State House campaign. The Bradford County Affiliate is live and well, my apologies.

 Total Available Balance $53,049.94
    Escrow Account: $1,868.54
    Federal Funds Account: $2,500.00
    State Funds Account: $48,681.40
